Cybertrol Presented with Hormel Foods 2021 Spirit of Excellence Award

August 29, 2022 - Representatives Doran Kasel and Adam Traeger from Hormel Foods in Austin, MN, traveled to Cybertrol Engineering headquarters in Plymouth, MN, to present members of the management team with the 2021 Spirit of Excellence Award.

Hormel Foods has established supplier quality management (SQM) standards that evaluate based on quality, delivery, service, technology, and price. Suppliers that exceed these standards are eligible for the annual Spirit of Excellence Award. To qualify, suppliers must maintain a minimum supplier rating index score of 92 throughout a 12-month period. This score is determined by a universal measurement system that was started in 1990 to ensure every supplier is held to the same standards.

Hormel Foods SQM Score Guidelines

• Maintain a score of 92 or greater for the calendar year
• Provide a high level of technical and customer service
• Deliver innovative solutions and improvements

Cybertrol Engineering maintained an SQM score of 99 in 2021 and is honored to once again be named a Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award recipient.
